Running Workshops!

I organised and ran a series of events and workshops and a shop through out the duration of LCC's Summer shows
with a small team of AMAZING graduates!

This was a 1st for any degree show at LCC, other shows to have some kind of
shop or interactivity but not of this length, depth and variety.

My aims for staging these:

1- Interactivity with the show

2-showcasing skills

3 -Visualising some of our working processes

4-showing the craft+creativity of the course

5-bringing people back into the show for the duration of the week
and also to keep a handful of us there at all times.

On top of this we organised, curated and put up a shop!

well happy! it was amazingly positive sharing the joys of simple craft,
the energy and excitement and intrigue from some people was really fulfilling,
especially seeing that 'ah! thats how!' kind of moment

enjoying the work you made! learning here how much control you have with your hands
and how sometimes perfect isn't always best

For a bit of creative fun we attempted an unofficial world record attempt for the worlds
LARGEST EXQUISITE CORPSE!

'exquisite corpse' is a collaborative drawing where each person draws part of something bigger
-but you don't know what was drawn before or after
so the end result is always loads of fun!

Workshop space, each day offered Screenprinting, badge making and exquisite corpse!

The evening we organised and took part in PECHA KUCHA presentations,
book launches and other goodies!

everyone could get involved! that was the beauty of it!

overall a success, it was great sharing some of the things i love, working with new people,  collaborating with some talented individuals and having some fun!
