Workshop.4-CONTRAST LONDON with Jo

LOVED THIS!!got millions of ideas and MASSIVELY TIED INTO WHAT IM TRYING TO LEARN AND DEVELOP IN TERMS OF SKILLS AND LOVED IT FOR ITS CREATIVITY AND WHAT I WANT TO WORK TOWARDS ARTISTICLY!

The brief was to make a small concertina book dealing with the idea of contrast. London is a hugely diverse place full of contrasting elements. we were given a list from which to pick a subject.i chose BLACK AND WHITE

i cant express how energized i got from this, i could litrally make my entire fmp book dealing with just this alone. i immediately went straight round the college and surrounding area taking rubbings and collected imagery to work with

i deliberately used photoshop to try and make a collage as thats what im trying to learn at the moment but there is just such a massive amount of creative freedom and exploration and sheer utter creativity to be found with this. i could use this with the monoprinting, even just use deifferent media and explore that and contrast that with images. ill also look at ways i could pick contrasting elements of london as im exploring the idea of 'forgotten' or 'broken' london
-im interested in decay and things you would otherwise overlook, such as abandoned buildings ,cracks, broken windows etc, and contrast that with the shiny touristy london. this would make a brilliantly visual chapter.

MORE ON THIS SOON!!!!!
