just found these brilliant screenprints earlier today
love it!!!what a good idea painting the background first before printing on top, giving each reproduced print its own personality and uniqueness. also deliberate strokes of brush being shown. love this!

about screenprinting, i learnt a brilliant little fact today. speaking to karl foster he was telling me that if you screenprint using oil based inks you can achieve far greater detail. he recommended flooding the screen twice.
its now illegal to do this [in the college] as the chemical you need to clean it off the screen is highly toxic.
bollocks.
